  1. You are right ceka and pussycat Personally i hate it when p.e. guys run around with their s***f cocks, but a bit naked skin in the pics isnt very offending. We can hide our profile if we like so why complain about things you don't have to care about? The teengrid is a long time gone and the lindens are rally nice ones, so they don't like to ban or reprove any one with some naked skin in their pics. So what else? Prude peoples here? I think - partially - yes. Here clash different culture- and moral values so we need tolerance. :smileywink:
  2. I'm happy with my home except its terrace is oriented to the wrong side. And a balcony door. Anyway look what you can do: Still enough prims even with bed couch patio loungers swing two chimneys my own curtains some autolanterns and something more.
  3. Are you dense? Anything was explained in post #1 and 3. Private estates are well overpriced and slower then mainland. I rather want to deal with LL then with overscrewed landlords. Don't mess up my thread when you are bored and liked to type here. :smileywink: Facts facts facts please :matte-motes-big-grin:
  4. Yes im shure. Blank profiles older then - per example - a year are mostly abandoned accounts. Anyway, i think the most of the basics don't make the effort to reverse their profiles when they abandon second life. Even that premiums have to pay and even payd they also don't give a **bleep** what and who's after. Beside that - it's a human factor - the most don't give a **bleep** about whats the next one behind them think about that. They say, hey it's a game! What do you have for a problem? I think except for one who has posted here, you are all in the land business. And i don't have to justify here why I would have it as i want it. And i said, they have to use a bit commonsense to change the sim layout, so that any of this - like on a vivarium places linden homes - stay good sorted so that any of this per random assignment given homes is attractive. That is so unfair you defeat my wishes here to contribute to a better community as - except one - the rest defends your own interests in land(-trading) and profit. ciao
  5. It's as i said before, newbs often know their choices later when they are firm with the abilites of second life. What i want to negotiate here is that the lindens do change the placing of the homes as even the selection of them for us. With a bit commonsense its easy to make a even clean and good structured setup with the four home styles within any sim of this three landmasses! (I think they maded them from the backend without to be inworld))) And i'm still talking about meadowbrook, and it also does affect the elderglen homes. So there would be then no further need to ask for a "premium spot". Otherwise with the actual development of this places, users who abandon second life sometimes, should be encouraged to abandon their home so that others can use it. I spent some time on this three landmasses and i checked out the places and i have seen, many have a zero prim usage as even then the owners of this homes then have also blank profiles. So they left second life. The cause that lindens offer premium homes is in my view not that they want to buck up premiums to leave their premium home alone, no its the earlier screaming thru the user community, that mainland needs to have a cleaner and more sorted look! That means no lag, no ugly walls etc. Maybe you received in feb 2012 a user survey about the linden homes, and they had in this survey questions about the placing, my desired style of the home and also about to have more community activities in this premium landmasses. So what would you answer? :matte-motes-dont-cry: And yes, that points to the suggestions i said in the first post, but as even more of us suggest them to made changes on them, as faster we will have a ...neat... premium community there - for every taste or needs. Only enthusiastic users will be longer paying users :matte-motes-big-grin-evil: That should be their plan dee
  6. Qwalyphi, i think the most of the newbs you mention here don't have neither the knowledge or - as i think - the patience to exactly develop what they need and what they want. I'm long enough here and the parcel prices on mainland have never so long and much dropped since 2008. To cut that off, all pre 2008 landsales started usually by an average of ~8 to mostly 20 L$ per square meter. After 2008/09 landsales have dropped down to a continous 0.3 to 2.5 L$ per square meter. So for what else do we need this stylish and free premium homes who cause the company additional work, when you can get today for little moneys your personal parcel on mainland? Lindens wanted to make a community within a common environment, and not as until, to "force" newbs to go into the usual "messed up" cause of mainland with lagful neigbours or ugly styled builds? That does not match! Btw, many peoples don't really have a good taste. Or are you an estate owner who wants to sell his own parcels? :catmad: Beside that they maded so far a good job as this 3 landmasses do look really nice and clean. :matte-motes-big-grin: I think peoples who just joined us at first don't take their - purely hypothetical - choices to finish the additional selections i suggested in my first post. The like to second life comes within the first months. And even then some leave, the other do continue with it while they really like it.
  7. As recently dicussed here i'm opening a new tread about the abilities to get the home i want. As foreword here is noted, that i abandoned many models - like the quad or the grayson - i really never want to put in my stuff or to involve common fellows. I'm talking here about the meadowbrook line, the other styles i'm personally don't find interesting. The elderglens are lovely little kitten houses but before i select this style i rather prefer to go back to mainland. :smileywink: Would you - the premium users of second life - in this case agree with me, that we first should could choose the parcel we want, and after, to have the possibility to put on the home we like? To specify my points here, i checked out all styles and my preferred models of the linden homes are as 1st the plumtree, which offers a lot of space inside and a balcony, and as the 2nd the overlook, which has almost so much space as the other and also have a balcony. The loft looks indeed chic, but it offers based by its small squaremeter design very few abilites to put on stuff. The other offered models I don't like because they have no clever floor plan or look like a tube. Please lindens, exchange them with the plumtree and the overlook because the landmasses you provide us are really nice maded and its a quite place to do something. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::Beside that as it feels as if an cattle car have being tried to fill, when I checked how close many houses stand together! Is that privacy? And then sadly in other places, soo many well-located homes stay empty and have still availabe 117 prims to use. That brings me to the question, who maded the sim plan, a chicken farmer? :manlol: Thanks for your contribution, dee
