This is really frustrating...four times I got to the “please wait while we prepare your Linden Home” screen and four times the next screen said my selection was sold out

yep I feel you! Honestly I would really be interested if someone would start legal proceedings over the fact that they chose to release homes this way instead of a waiting list. It would have to be class action. To tell you the truth I am currently salty enough to sign up for one if there was one over this.

Yet the world goes on without us. The Yava pods will be running. My animesh NPCs are walking around and waiting for visitors, I expect. Breedables are aging. Plants are growing. The wind changes, and wind socks and weathervanes respond. Ferris wheels still turn. Ships sail off Jeoghot. The ferry goes from Sansara to Heterocera and back. The prim drilling rig in the ANWR channel will be making prims. The trains of the SLRR continue to run. They don't need us.

Oh god its like the documentary world after humans left accept SL edition 😨

I can't complain about anybodies work performance this week. Used that card up yesterday, as I poked myself in the eye with a cardboard folder at the office, which resulted in me being "out of order" for two days.

    ouch!

  6. When a certain MMO that shalt not be named did their server migration they kept stringing us along with specific times for the server to be back online. what added insult to injury was that these deadlines they kept failing to meet then posting another deadline a few minutes after the servers were supposed to be back up. It is incredibly irksome to keep stringing users along like that. Many of us waited for several hours for said servers to relaunch which they only did two days after the relaunch date was missed.

I am grateful that LL did not do this for us. I would rather someone tell me they have no clue what time it will be back up then have me waiting to get back on at a specific time.

I could give you a lot of ideas. Such as...

Isn't it a bit unnerving that doctors call what they do "practice"?

Where do forest rangers go to "get away from it all"?

Why do they report power outages on TV?

If a book about failures doesn't sell, is it a success?

But for the workinds under our hood, I am afraid I am not the best person to speak about that, and the ones that are, are knee deep under the hood right now.

Dang, too bad I could not dig in. I am way too far away logistically to help nor would I be much help w/o being trained for the specifics first.

The best I can tell you right now, is we have a lot of people working hard on getting it resolved, and that we want everyone back in Second Life as quickly as possible. Except @CrystalFragments we are tormenting them as part of the master plan.

    you meanie! 😟xD
