I'll try that, Suella. I have noticed before that upon occasion, there is a little graphic that looks like a notpad with some writing on it with an exclamation mark above it that shows up near where the pose ball was deleted, every now and then. I'll see if i can delete that. thx ~mouse

Hello again, all. Someone gave me a free swim pose ball a while ago, that I eventually got tired of, and deleted. But ~every~ time I start up SL, and standing on my parcel, I keep getting this stupid message about "such and such swimming pose would like to animate your character...do you want to animated...etc etc" The thing is...i cant figure out how to get rid of the message, because i already deleted the pose ball long ago, and emptied the trash too. Anybody know how to help me with this problem? Really annoying. Is there a place where scripts can hang out? I see the "scripts" folder in my inventory...but it's empty. Ive even done a search for the pose ball in my inventory, just in case i have a copy of it. No soap. Thanks ya'll ~mouse

Hi, I have a hot tub. Its about 40 prims total. I use it for a while, but decide that i want to temporarily remove it, so I "take" the hot tub back into my inventory for later use. Question: While standing on my parcel, is the hot tub's 40 prims still being counted against the total prim count allowed on my parcel? I guess my question goes for any other thing that I might have in my inventory that had been rezzed and then "taken" back into it? Are they still being counted? Im a little cloudy on how SL calculates total prim counts along with the objects that are in my inventory. Thanks for any comments. ~mouse

Im not exactly sure of what you're looking/asking for. Simple country folks .... is it an organized club of people?....or a collection of people who likes the outdoors?.... or simple minded folks who are rather conservative in thought??? I think you might need to add a little more info in your quest. ~mouse

ok, well, i own (well, i pay a tier every month) to my parcel, so i dont think that will be a problem, but this thread is quickly turning me off to the idea of a media player in my house.

im not sure how to respond to your reply. Forgive me, im still a little new here, in sl. So, an item like the Deimos viewer that i can mount on my wall in my home in SL is or can be full of spyware...that is what you're saying? But i like the idea of having a wall hung object (like a tv) that will play the media of my choice, i.e., music, video games, movies, etc. You're saying just pop those items up on winamp, or other...but can i attach those apps to an object to at least suggest the effect of having a tv device in my room of my house?

My head is spinning trying to figure out what media viewer to use. I have the Phoenix viewer, but it seems like most media players have issues with it? Any suggestions? ~mouse

Ah! Ok, Thank you, Venus! So, essentially, it isnt just simply copying/pasting the url from the station that i like into the notecard. I will need to edit the URL listing, and pare it down to just the base URL, and the port that is displayed within it? I will try that. ~mousie

Hello again, everyone! I have a question. I got a radio from the SL marketplace. It looks like this: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/AT-Music-Laptop/1068103 The instructions say that I can add any station of my choosing to the notecard that is within the contents of the radio. I understand that. It also suggests that I visit Shoutcast.com to find stations that I might like, and then add those to the notecard. Understood. I looked at the notecard in the radio contents, and I see the listings of various stations. They look like simple URL links to those particular stations. All good, but here's my question when I select a music station over there at Shoutcast.com what info do i need to copy/paste into the radio notecard in order to hear the station being played? When I select a station there, I see the URL for it is at the top of the page, so I copy it, and then paste it into the notecard, but i get an error message stating that the radio cannot parse the file? So short version question: What info do i cut/paste from Shoutcast into the notecard that correctly refers to the staion being played? Thanks for any advice, ~mouse

Hi, I have a few .jpgs of some drawings that I did, and would like to have them displayed as wall art in my sl abode. Can you suggest the best way to go about doing this? Is there some kind of special frame i can buy on the sl marketplace or ingame that will accept rl images? im looking at sl marketplace right now, but i only see frames that accept images taken within sl. Ok, one last question: Let's say i place my skybox about 1200m above my parcel. Are my neighbors able to see my green dot on their minimap, even though i am directly above them? Thanks again, everybody! i just love sl. having a blast. its still all shiney and new! :-)

I am noticing that i see these skydome texture sphere thingies available in the marketplace. I am presuming that i can buy and then install the sphere around my skybox, yes? Does it make it so that the horizon looks better, and /or does it also block other skyboxes nearby from my view?

Hello, Im thinking of putting in a skybox up over my little parcel. How high up am I allowed to go? Is there a "good" height, vs. a not so good height? Any suggestions or comments about skyboxes would be greatly appreciated, since i know next to nothing about them.
