So let me get this right - your suggestion of "coming at things with the slightest better attitude" is to message the owner of a big land group and kindly ask if you can please have one of their homes if they ever give it up?  Ok well I did message one of them and I was met with abuse and then I got a message from the persons daughter who accused me of being nasty to her Mum (which I wasn't) I said I just wanted to understand why they wanted/needed so many homes and at that point she offered me a home on the condition I didn't leave it!  I declined as it somehow felt like my silence was being bought.  I don't know if I was expected to try to catch the house or if she was just telling me to go live in it as I didn't go any further into it for fear of somehow getting into a situation where a chat log could be used against me.   I actually thought you caught your home after one of the GOH's players asked on the thread for people to contact her on the day that region was released and I did think about it myself but then noticed later in the evening it was gone - obviously to you.

You didn't get it right - when referring to having a better attitude, it was in reference to belli and the homes in general. It was a place created for community, step off of the parcel and realize there are good areas and fun things all over belli. It's pointless explaining that aspect though, as it appears you might be stuck in the negative feelings you have. If you were met with that kind of reaction, something tells me you weren't exactly kind about it. 🙄 Or maybe you were! People can say no, but it never hurts to ask for things you want.

These are houses in second life,  are you truly that perturbed about being "bought" over... linden homes? You are free to feel as you want. I understand it can be frustrating to not get exactly what you want, everyone feels that, but most learn by now how to deal & keep on. I did catch one of my homes like that, as you noticed you easily could have done the same 🙂My other one was claimed the way I stated previously.

Last I'll say about this is it's Second life, especially right now people are here for an escape. For me personally, spending time decorating themes & spots in belli is a way to ease my anxiety, and focus on something that makes me happy. What's the point in dictating or "exposing" how someone else uses SL? I implore some of you to try to focus on your personal SL experience instead, it's got to be more enjoyable than constantly complaining.

If someone pays double the amount of a single premium account holder so that they get 2 Linden homes or pays 3 times as much or 4 or whatever, its their business and no one elses. Each time they pay they get a chance at getting a home they love. Just like if you go to the fair and play on the shooting range. You get as many tries as you pay for. Do you go to the fair and complain because someone else pays for more tries than you and wins a prize? You might not deem it fair but life isn't fair.

Anyone any idea when the stilt homes are being released or is it still just a guessing game?

no specific dates yet, but it's supposed to be close to late fall/ winter. Whenever they get moved over to the cloud 🤗

  3. Yikes... the hostility in this thread now is so bizarre. Why on earth get so stressed about belli homes or what others do with their homes?

If you want to dictate your neighborhood, who gets what house or how many they can own... maybe belli isn't for you? Someone can buy up your whole street IRL, or own your favorite house cause they got there first. 🤷‍♀️

Also, I've gone through lots of houses, still have a couple great spots, but I got them by posting on the forums that I was looking for one and most recently - get this - I saw a spot that was in a big LH group, and I kindly messaged the owner how much I loved it and if she ever planned on getting rid of it to please let me know. Guess what? Same night she let me try for it!  Maybe try coming at things with the slightest better attitude 🙄

    Did someone say pics?! lol

Honestly, THIS plot is my keeper. It beats anything I've rolled previously and I doubt I will roll anything better. I even like it better than my Victorian which I adore. It's out on a peninsula with a private pathway to it. I've seen boats go by several times today. I almost peed my pants when I saw it.

As is usually the case for me, I roll the most amazing plots when I am simply picking one up to use to build an addon. The Traditional plot I rolled is the most amazing lot I have seen. I think it's my forever home!

With that said, now I have my original traditional to release. I am once again picking up my things and moving (for the second time in a week). Once I get that done, I will release it. It is on Domingos, sits on a cliff overlooking a great view of water and houseboats. There is a public pool at the bottom of the cliff. It sits off the road and is sunken down a bit which I found charming. It is also directly next door to the Bellis Blues Cafe.

I will release it in 30 minutes (1:30PM SLT).

    ooo show pics!!

You need a "Cat-MEOW" alarm clock set to go off at 5 am SLT, I have 3 lol.  Lionel Crossing seaside house was beautiful, it is a nice area...I am checking out the SSPE region below that has a few green parcels going tdown to a sandy beach, looks intriguing  :)

If you're talking about SSPE1071, I am like salivating at those spots next to the beach 😍

I picked up a Traditional the other day to work on and ended up with this one. I usually work and then abandon it but I could not bring myself to do that with this one. I abandoned my houseboat instead. This is how it turned out 🙂

  8. I've never really been interested in the log homes, but I was just playing the GoH on my alt and clicked one for fun. Normally the Log abandons I find don't wow me at all, I love this spot though! really big, the next neighbor isn't right next to it, just a little down the path. I can't decide if I'll keep it, but for once I'm tempted!

I picked up this abandon in Prunella. I had been hoping for a waterfront Vic or Trad, but I'm not too sure now that I have it. Maybe its because the waterfront section looks incomplete? It  lacks rocks or decor to make it look more natural? Seems like less attention to detail was paid here than in some other areas I have seen.

So now I'm musing over holding onto it as it is my first waterfront vic, or do I go back to the GoH....

I saw these and thought the same! I'm excited about the region right next to them that hasn't got any houses down yet... it looks like they paid a lot of attention to that one.

Do you Ladies have a preference location for a Houseboat. I will be back at the Houseboat hunting soon. Of course finding a spot that isn't too congested with people, etc would be awesome.

I don't know that I'd every be lucky enough at finding one, but I love the house boats that are single parked like these or ones without anyone blocking their ocean view.

I found these not too far from me by following a little river path, it leads into a big circular body of water with houseboats like this around the entire way. I definitely hovered in jealousy too long. Also these had a hill behind them so no other homes in view just 😍 I'd love that or to be on one of the smaller islands
