Facelights are fine, as long as they are done correctly. They can be used to great effect to add a tint of color to an avatar. The issue with most facelights is that they have 2, 3, 5, 10 light sources and they are all set to be way to darn bright. Make yourself a prim, attach it to your chin, and play with the light settings.
I agree though with most people. use windlight to get a good lighting effect and leave the FL at home.

Yes. Like it or no these are the changes. Best learn the new features and adjust them to how you work. I was able to adjust about 90% of my work habits to fit in with CHUI, though it is still not as good as the old chat functions. Take the time to play with the new chat options.

Dont follow the advice to disable automatic updates, it will make your SL far worse in the long run. I suggest everyone do two things to start getting used to the new chat user interface. 1) go into chat preferences and experiment with the options there for what happens when you receive messages from friends, and groups and other sources. You can cut down on the number of popups dramatically when you do. 2) make sure that chat button is on your toolbar becase that is a good vidual clue that you have a new message now that the chiclets in the upper right are gone.
Love it or hate it the changes are here, best to start to figure out how to adjust the settings to work better for you.

I have a 6464m2 parcel in the mountains of the Heterocera Atoll for sale. The parcel is along side SL Route 6. I am selling the parcel for just 3000L$ or about .46 per m2. Region has a good amount of spare time is is low lag.

I can't read a blog without talk about how private region ownership is plumeting, but I have been trying for a month to buy a region without a lick of success.
I would like to buy one full transfer region. The region must be empty and ready for transfer. Tier date doesn't matter, if you have a region you want to dump before an approaching tier payment let me know.

I have a nice parcel that goes over the top of the mountains on the Atoll. The parcel is 6464 m2 and I am selling it for just 6000L. The peak is around 210m, and has great views. The parcel does backup to a portected mountain roadway which is also nice.

4000 is a lot of money for 1200 prims. You should be able to find a parcel with conservancy more thoroughly that money my region is seasonal so not really suited to your needs. I have large corner parcels though for 1.70 linens per prim per week. I would look around on the land forum here and check some places out. Give me a shout in world if you want to see my region or have other questions about land.
