What does it cost to buy your own sim? And the monthly costs or tier fees or what ever they are called? And can you pick where your sim is?

I know it costs 10 lindens to upload a picture, but i heard you can upload a bull amount instead of just one. What is the cost for that and is there a limit? Do they give you a bulk rate??

Hey folks,

I am trying to add a new visa to my billing account but as soon as I hit the "add" button the page goes blank and says "Page not found."

Any idea why this is?  I am all signed in and everything.

So this new "Meta" Zuckerberg is talking about creating sounds like Second Life. We've all been using the term "metaverse" from the start,  in fact he sounds like Philip Rosedale 20 years ago.

My question is how will this effect Second Life? Will we be incorporated into this? Is this finally Philip Rosedale's vision becoming a reality?

A number of years ago there was an SL men's clothing store that also sold real clothes. You could buy a tee shirt for your avatar or pay for a real one and have it sent to you in real life.

In SL you have to stream everything all the time where ever you are, so it takes longer to update what is happening making things like driving, boating, flying more complicated and sometimes full of issues.

The only real way to combat this is to make sure you have as low as ping to the server as possible. SL is heavily ping controlled. Where high ping can cause problems.

I want to start off by saying this is not a rant, just.a question. 

Why is it I can go on steam and play games like truck simulator and drive fast and everything is clear and seamless and nothing needs to Rez or anything, and then when I go on Second Life with the same computer and try to drive on the Linden roads it is a rezzing night mare? Why???

I was wondering if anyone knows if there are still SL Police groups around? They used to be years ago, they were independent groups that basically helped people out?
