  1. I am just getting back into second life and I have a question. I just hooked up my bank account to my SL account for purchases vie the info on my bank card but I have two accounts connected to my bank card. I need the money to come out of my checking account not my savings but I don’t see any options of making sure of this. How to I make sure my SL purchases come out of the right account?

  2. Can anyone advise me on whether or not my computer specs are good for SL?

    My processor is Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700 CPU @ 2.90GHz   2.90 GHz

    16 gb of RAM

My processor is 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Also with these specs what should my settings in sl be for optimum performance?

Benson, maybe you're not actually paying attention here.

In several other threads you've whined about several matters, but you state you're premium.

Might I suggest you take advantage of being able to access LL Customer Support during their open hours to get your issues reolved? Even if live chat can't resolve your issues then they'll help you to file  support ticket.

I havent been a premium member in years.

  4. So I am sitting here trying to update my billing information, and I am trying to add my new Visa to the my Second life account and it keeps saying, "there was an error, -please try again."

I try over and over and keep getting the same message. Any idea why it wont let me update my billing info?

The 512 parcels have 175 prims. The 1024 parcels have 351.

The nice thing about Linden Homes is that the prims of the house itself don't eat into your land's prim allotment.

Nice! I am becoming an even bigger fan of the Lindens!

  6. Does anyone know how many prims you are allowed to rez on the new linden home plots? Also, are you allowed to pay for say one or two or three months at first to see how you like it before committing to a full year payment? Can you pay for say three months ahead at once?

My advice would be never pay more in advanced that you are willing to lose if things go títs up. Based on what i have witnessed on mainland if the land owner does disappear off the face of the grid and stops paying tier you won't log in one day to find the land gone and at best everything returned to you, ban lines will go up and you have time to rescue your objects before the parcel is cleared. which i find reassuring as a mainland renter. I've rented the same parcel for more than 13 years from "Rent Mainland". If you do go mainland i would say it's preferable to be on group owned land as that means you can be given use of the "about land" options a land owner would have

I would love to rent on mainland. Especially along a Linden road. Do you have any ideas of available rental land on linden roads?

  8. I am looking to rent a parcel of land to place a home on. I want a fairly substantial one and this is my first time doing something this big. But I have some concerns.
I have heard stories of people renting a property, paying in advance for a length of time, and then the sim owner sells the sim and the renter loses all his money, and Linden labs won’t get involved.

Is this true and how do you protect yourself from things like this?
