Now that you mention them I can't get them out of my sight ...and I did see the shadows of them. I am sure it is the dark cabinet behind the flowers that makes them not so obvious to me. Maybe just a bit more light on the buds themselves. I don't know that I would change anything else

Getting caught up on things and time to start preparing for the next project - building a photo set. It's kind of hard finding good help around here. I'm wondering if he left any...

OK..not technically how I look today but after a week of ignoring friends and sitting naked on that cold rock, trying to get the lighting right - with one break in the middle to go purchase a LUMIPro - I'm still feeling it the next day Looking at this now it isn't exactly what I had hoped but then maybe I've just been looking at it for too long so rather than keep tweaking, I'm going to move on to the next project with the experience I gained from this.

Today is .... Day two of the photo shoot for the project I've been working up to...getting a little help today because last night's attempt by myself was a total failure. Obviously some of us here have much more experience getting the lighting just 'perfect'. I'm working on that yet ...

I got tied up in a project for a few days and can't believe how much I missed! I still have 2 more pages of beautiful pixesls to go through but need to get moving and get to work so this seemed like a good place to stop...and a great picture! ....and love the hair too

Yeah, this hair is bugging me too but I've yet to find anything that I liked...and hoping to find something that would play 'wet' was way too much to contemplate this morning

Well...I don't know how to get around this except to let it go The other day I responded to your B/W photo on the bridge, Scylla...I loved it. Later I didn't see it and figured it was removed or I just didn't press submit. (more likely ) NOW I am trying to do a new post and that entire response - including your picture keeps filling the window. I deleted as much as I could but can't delete that top block indicating that it is a reply to you. You're haunting me! Now stop it! Anyway, I'm just laying peacefully enjoying the sunset...this morning...contemplating the day ahead

Well, I had good intentions but it was a 2 for 1 day and by the time I left, my hands were full

Whatever it is...just keep it over there! I have been struggling with adding a new video card so I don't crash every other time I take a pic. It didn't go well last night...more parts on order BUT even the built in video hardware in THIS machine is better than what I've been working with. So, while I wait, I can relax a bit...and so I am ...don't need none of those things over here to ruin that!

Oh Great! I'm glad you only said "100" because now I'm going to spend the next few hours admiring the beautiful pixels and looking for everybody's secrets BUT thank you. There are so many pages that I wouldn't have though of going back that far any more than to the very beginning. I stumbled across Anya Omai's "Second Life Photography Walkthrough" last night and was floored. Sure I knew all the controls were there but had never pursued learning more about them and was hesitant to use them. Next I'll need a new video board and my family will be extending like so many others here ....and hopefully my pics will get better

She looks great! I just wanted to add that I am sure the issues I was having were self inflicted and the best thing that happened was making me start from scratch. As you said "Wow, I've learned something"

So I've been lurking in this thread for a bit - admiring all the beautiful pixels but not posting because after struggling for so long to get my Signature body and Catwa head to fit as best I could with the neck line still visible but barely, I took a bit of a break and returned to find my body needing an update. Doing that brought back the dreaded guillotine line. Several days of frustration later while pouring through Catwa's website I realized I needed new head too (really, I think that is still the case!) Long story short, I failed to save what had been applied and had to start over again. This time it worked! No neckline except in some windlight conditions. I can live with that. ...though as I sit there thinking about going to work I just realized that the neckline isn't visible in this shirt anyway. Still, the confidence to go into the world is there now
