I AM A BUILDER I KNOW HOW CREATE AVATAR WITH PRIMS BUT I WANT DEPELOP MY STORE CREATING MESH AVATAR. I WANT TO KNOW WHAT I NEED, AND HOW I CAN CREATE SOME ANIME MESH AVATAR.THANKS FOR YOUR HELP

You have to use a 3d program outside of sl. Many use Maya, 3ds max, and other programs.

One free one is blender . Located @ http://blender.org, There are a couple of developers who have really been focusing on making plugins for sl and blender. . Find the file avatar.blend. You should be able to create a good avatar from that

Creating a mesh avatar from scratch will require learning how to RIg the bones. See BONE RIGGING, and HERE, for more info
