Brook Gracemount
I'm trying to migrate, but when I push the "Send to marketplace" button, I get this message:"Marketplace initialization failed. Initialization with the marketplace failed because of a system or network error. Try again later"Well, I tried later and that message appeared again and again... I don't know what's wrong, please, help me with this. And I have a question, will magic boxes stop working anytime soon??? or we can keep it and still selling through it?? Ry0ta Exonar
If you are on Linux, there is a JIRA here: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-28629 If your language setting of the viewer is not English, try changing it to English. https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-28630
Brook Gracemount
I'm on Windows 7, but I'm using SL in Spanish, maybe that's why.... well I'll try to fix the language and I'll be back, thanks for your response.
Dragonlady Boa
if changing the language doesn;t help. make sure you are on the ground and not logged into the marketplace. Before I was logged in, and in my skybox, then I logged out, and tried it while still in my skybox, once I got to the ground and tried it again, it went through fine! Resident CommerceTeam Linden Posted March 26, 2012 Resident Share Posted March 26, 2012 Greetings! Linden Lab is aware of some users having communication issues when trying to upload products to the Marketplace using the Merchant Outbox. The Viewer Team is actively working on trying to resolve these issues. Please ensure that you add your comments to the appropriate Jira Ticket to assist the Viewer Team further with their research on this trouble. RC Paderborn
It 's a Mac issue as well. Not just Linux and Windows. Hmm any other Os' left? Leaving the skybox and standing on the ground (in the same location) and STILL logged into the Marketplace, well these forums since I can't GET to the marketplace, worked. Gee, who'd have thunk that standing on a prim would be enough to keep the merchant system from working? Well, maybe it worked. I tried to "send to marketplace" and the wheel is still spinning. I'll leave ya'll alone now. Looks like there's a lot of late nights in store for you before your SL Exchange drop dead date.
Ry0ta Exonar
Here is a JIRA for Mac users: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-28631? Maybe you have to push "reopen" button and follow these instructions to supply a detailed report. https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Bug_Tracker That's what I did. RC Paderborn
It isn't that big of a deal to me. I pulled all my stuff off of the market place 2 or 3 years ago. I was JUST in the process of adding some back (nothing listed though) when this DD stuff kicked in. I'm thinking I'll just stay away from the marketplace until they get the bugs worked out and it starts working as well as it did in the SL Exchange/XStreet SL days.
