  1. First, please rest assured that we're closely following the feedback in this forum. You're not spilling ink in vain. We haven't asked you to test specific things precisely because we need generalized feedback on various aspects of your experience with search both as merchants and as shoppers. Based on the feedback you have given, we're working on making incremental changes. We'll promptly notify you of each new deploy (and yes, we'll list the changes made) and ask for additional responses. While it's clear even from discussions in just this thread that it's impossible to satisfy everyone
  2. For those who would like the Direct Delivery Linden Bear with the burning Magic Boxes, it's back up for a few days. Go ahead and grab it!
  3. Magic Boxes have been shut down. Please use Viewer-Managed Marketplace (VMM) to list items for sale on the Marketplace going forward. If you are seeing any issues, submit a support ticket under Marketplace Item Listing Issues or file a JIRA.
  4. All Direct Delivery listings have now been migrated to Viewer-Managed Marketplace(VMM), and the VMM-enabled viewer is now the default Release download. Thank you everyone for your patience during the migration.
  5. Thank you for the reports. If people are seeing issues, please let us know by filing a JIRA in the VMM project. We're addressing them as quickly as we can.
  6. Thank you for the report. We are currently tracking this in VMM-64. As a work-around, you can add a temporary name to the listing and then you will be able to delete it.
  7. We've announced Xstreet shutdown dates. We will be emailing Merchants with active Magic Box listings to alert them of these dates, as well.
  8. As many of you noticed, we did shorten the time line to get Merchants migrated to VMM. This is due primarily to the need to get Merchants off of Xstreet, as it was down for a weekend in early July, forcing us to accerate our dates.
  9. We've put up a new blog post with definitive dates for migration from Direct Delivery to VMM. [Update August 3, 2015] All Direct Delivery listings have now been migrated to Viewer-Managed Marketplace(VMM), and the VMM-enabled viewer is now the default Release download. Thank you everyone for your patience during the migration.
  10. The Viewer-Managed Marketplace (VMM) Beta is now available to all Marketplace Merchants. Merchants will still need the Second Life Project Viewer to use VMM. See the blog post for more information.
  11. We have closed the survey. We will be following up shortly with those who volunteered. Thank you for the great response! We really appreciate it.
  12. Thank you all for the feedback. We have added an additional question to the FAQ regarding the migration process. What will my migrated items look like in my inventory? If you choose to have your listings automatically migrated, listing and version folders will automatically be created for you. Both of these folders will be named after the "SL Object Name" you can see on your listing.
  13. Would you like 3 free months of Premium Membership on one of your accounts? Are you a Merchant with at least 50 listings (active and inactive) in your store? If so, we’d like you to volunteer your store to be one of the first stores migrated to Viewer-Managed Marketplace. We have been testing the migration process using test accounts, and, as thorough as these tests may be, they cannot anticipate some of the unusual cases that sometimes arise. Because of this we would like to migrate around 20 stores of 50 or more Direct Delivery listings before we begin general migrations. If you are intere
  14. We have updated the FAQ with a couple of the questions we've seen come up. Let us know if there are additional questions we've missed that need to be added. Here are the new questions we've added: I use a Third Party Viewer. Will I need to move to VMM? Yes, you will. The TPV development community has been updated regularly on the timeline for VMM, and some of them are planning to include these updates. Please check with your TPV for more information. What happens when I run out of no-copy stock items? The Marketplace will send you an email to alert you and unlist your listing until you have
