How do I fix. Unable to connect to simulator?

I can't log into my account thats the one i'm under I can use it for the web site but can't log in with the viewer please help????

If you are lucky, you can cure the problem by logging in to a different sim.  Try a nice quiet one like Pooley, and then TP wherever you want to go.

If you ar not lucky, you have run afoul of the Group created possibly involves "invalid character" preventing Login bug.  As you will see if you go to the link for that JIRA, if you are wearing a group tag that contains "illegal" characters when you log out of SL, you will not be able to log back in again.  If you are a Premium member, the easiest solution is to contact Live Chat and explain the situation.  They will either change your tag so you can log in or remove you from the group.  If you are not a Premium member, you'll have to get a friend or an alt to go in world and contact the group's owner.  Again, explain the problem and ask the owner to eject you from the group (and PLEASE change the illegal characters in the tag so nobody else gets stuck off world).  If you ARE the group's owner, that's a real problem.  You'll have to get a friend or alt to convince everyone else in the group to leave it, so that the group dies within 48 hours.
