Liviiia
Hi i wanted to add here https://secondlife.com/my/forms/destinations.php my club and i filled all out but i get an error with my picture which i dont understand. Thats what i get:This should be a link to a web hosted image (at a public site such as Flickr or Photobucket) that you would like us to include with your listing. Please submit screenshots only in 657w x 394h in .jpg format. Do not add promotional text or logos over your screenshot. The URL entered above should point to the "Original" or "Large" size. Images that are not submitted in the correct format may disqualify your submission from consideration.[E.g., http://farm4.static.flickr.com/imagepath.jpg] And thats the picture i wanted to post: http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7202/6962949107_db26327caa_b.jpgmaybe someone can tell how to formate my picture url correct thanks.Olivia
Amethyst Jetaime
I'm not sure what the problem is because I can access the pic just fine and its the right size and format. However it will not qualify anyway as its not a screenshot of the actual location. They will only accept a snapshot of your venue not art like your picture is. If this is not your original art work, It could have something embedded in the pic to prevent it from being used to protect the IP rights of the artist. Take an actual snapshot of your venue and use that instead. Just save it to your computer so that you can put it on flckr.
Ry0ta Exonar
The dimension of your picture is not correct. (647 x 394) Oh, and yes, like Amethyst said.
Community Manager Brett Linden Posted March 8, 2012 Community Manager Share Posted March 8, 2012 Hi Liviiia, I'm sorry to hear that you had some issues with the Destination Guide suggestion submission form. As others on this thread have pointed out, the form is very specific re: the dimensions of the web-hosted photo and it will reject anything that does not match the correct (657 x 394) format (URL path should end in .jpg). For the image, it is also true that one of our criteria is that the image should be an inworld snapshot of the actual location. If the form becomes too problematic, then please feel free to email the editors directly so that we can help process your submission suggestion manually. Our email is editor -at- lindenlab.com...and we'll be happy to help! Best, Brett
