Slow FPS on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit ,4 GB of DDR, 2.1 GHZ, and NVIDIA Gefore GT 430

Hey. I'm getting a slow FPS of  6 or so. My graphics default settings are set to medium. But for some reason the highest FPS is only at 16 with the settings on low. I cant figure out why the game is operating so slow.

It could be that there are a lot of other users sharing your broadband connection.

Or are you running a lot of windows at the same time? Maybe windows updates are also being added in the background.  Are you on a sim that has a lot of scripts running? Does your avatar wear a lot of scripts.  There are a ton of reasons why your FPS might fluctuate. I can run happily enough at around 16FPS, but more often than not I run lower, because of being online at the same time as my young neighbours who are tweeting away to their buddies. Grrrhhh!!!

click on me, in the top left corner, then go to preferneces, then to graphics and go down to hardware and uncheck anistrophic filtering and uncheck Enable VBO. i did this and went from 8fps to 60 hope htis helps.
