maturity rating on premium account house

I just got a premium account and it gave me a house in a M rated area... I was never asked which maturity rating i wanted... so is there a way i can change that?  would like to be in an A area... the whole idea was to be able to do anything with my partner privately so... unless i can do anything in the house in a M rated one... including voice chat... ;)

There are no Adult areas in Linden Homes.  And yes you can do "adult" things in private on a Mature sim.  The best way to think about the Adult rating is that it is for commercialized (paid) adult activities, meaning in public.  Not that different from zoning laws in certain towns here in the US.  You can do whatever you want in the privacy of your home, but you can't open a sex shop in the local mall.

You can do everything you want with your partner inside your home, use any poseball or sexbed you can dream of. :smileyhappy: You can use a security orb to increase your privacy if you want to.

All Linden Homes are on M rated regions and cannot be changed to Adult.

If you wish however to develop Adult activities other than private ones with your partner (sex-related business,  brothel or whatever) you can do that on Zindra continent which is the Adult mainland, or rent an A-rated place from a private owner.

Hello FionaGherig and welcome to SL Forums. As others said you have nothing to worry about. It is not a public place, it is your house. If you want more privacy you can use 2 options under Menu World --> About Land window.

1. Go to "Options" tab and disable "Avatars on other parcels can see and chat with avatars on this parcel. This way noone else can see your and your partner avatar even he is in the Linden Home beside yours, some metres away.
2. Go to "Access" tab and disable "Allow public access". After add in the "Allowed Residents" list below, only the residents who you desire to visit your place.
