Welcome to Second Life Answers, Regina

A lot of people are currently having problems, and there is server maintenance taking place right now, so hopefully your problem will be resolved soon. Meantime you can read the latest on the grid status - scroll down to the sub paragraphs regarding stuck avatars.

http://status.secondlifegrid.net/

As you have been able to log in to a different sim to where your avatar is stuck, I have no doubt that with persistence and patience you can do so again. Again, remember not to try to log in to the sim where you think your avatar may be stuck - or you will fail!

If you do know where your avatar presence may be stuck, once logged in, teleport across to that location, and that will clear your own ghost presence issue straightaway.

Good luck.

Have you contacted Live Chat yet? They can possibly poke your avatar offline one way or another.

You did, manage to get logged in before, therefore I know you CAN do it again. You just have to believe in yourself, and just use Furball as your log in location, try try try try try with no breaks to log in.

Hello Regina. It is an old bug which is back again and affects many residents. Here is a jira: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-28209 You can vote there, watch, add your comment and follow the suggestion of Alexa Linden:

For avatar which are stuck "ghosting" in Second Life, thus preventing logging back in, you will need to file a Support Ticket so they can unstick the your individual account.

So change your login location and if does no work, submit a ticket under account issues --> second life web login issues and wait for a reply. If you are a premium is preferable to use LiveChat. You find the option on the right. Good luck.
