Farewell msgs were sent on an account that is now disabled. Will they still receive msgs?

Also, will they be able to reply to those messages or receive a message stating the account is now closed?

If the messages were sent, then they must have been sent while the account was still active so they should in theory have received them instantly. However, there has been a pandemic of undelivered messages as of late so they may or may not have received the messages.

As far as replying to the messages if they do receive them, if the account is disabled, there will be no one to reply to, if they try, they will not be able to. They will more than likely get some kind of error such as name is unavailable or something similar.
