Is there a way to transfer my inventory to a new avatar before deleting an avatar?

I am considering deleting my account, but I invested alot of money in my avatar and inventory.

You can transfer the linden and you can transfer any inventory items that is transferable.  But if the item is set to No Transfer then you cannot move it.  Also, if you decide to do this you need to transfer the items inworld BEFORE you cancel your first account.  This is not something that can be done from here in the website.  You need to use the inworld tools to transfer linden and inventory.
