I took a hiatus from SL for about a year and recently i went to a shopping event and there were no tattoo appliers for Catwa mesh heads? With new products that are being offered, is there a way to apply skins and tattoos without transitioning to BOM? I spent alot of time and $ transitioning to mesh, finding the skin i wanted. I personally don't wish to use old tattoos and clothes. The resolution in mesh products far exceeds the look of older textures and clothes. Maybe it's just my perception of this. Sorry for my ignorance on this subject. Any assistance in how to use these new products without using BOM? My apologies if i posted this question in the wrong section in forums.

I've tried to find other posts about this. On the Firestorm viewer, there used to be an option on Quick prefs (the phoenix icon - defaulted bottom right of toolbar); the sun and moon slider. It was great for moving the shadows, when taking pictures. It's not there anymore. Is that option offered somewhere else within the viewer? That was a feature i used heavily. Where did it go? 😔

Why is that?

Nonetheless, he has my perms - now whether or not he is using that to get that odd serpent attached, i have no clue. I NEVER gave him permissions, yet he was able to deform my avatar when we were in the same region. Yes, since that time, i have enabled quite a few security protections thru the viewer.

I DID NOT GIVE PERMISSION. I sat down on a couch with animations. and yes, they can be taken. I am not the only one that experienced perms getting stolen. Here is a thread related to stolen perms - at least related to animations. I was not too concerned, as i doubted i would be going back to the areas this avatar went - nonetheless, he is very tech savy, malicious and quite astute at hacking.

I suspect this would fall under abuse or griefing. This showed up on my viewer view, i could not right click item and no matter where i moved my view, this seemed to be attached to my avatar/screen view. I was just parked on my parcel and this just showed up. At the time, i was on Coolviewer. Coolviewer does not offer restrained love to allow or not, after i logged back in on Singularity (restrained love is disabled), the serpent/snake was no longer showing. Could it be related to restrained love? A couple of years ago, someone stole my perms. From what i read, perms only allows someone to animate or deform my avatar. Could it be accomplished thru perms? I accidentally cleared out ALL my passwords on my computer...not a good day. :( I tried passwords i typically use on my alt accounts, which did not work. When I chose 'forgot password' at login screen, i was asked to give names of 3 friends on that account, with last name Resident?? Can it get more general than that?? I need some help. That is where i did my financial transactions from. omg... Weird i couldn't reply to either of your comments. Thank u both. I suggest perform searches for groups and places that may be to your interest. Also there are a host of classes to learn a variety of skils: scripting, building, photography etc. Alot of the younger crowds seems to like clubs. Infohubs and welcome areas are good if you are looking for conversation. SL has definitely evolved since i started. Luckily the fashion choices are much more sophisticated than they used to be. Destination Guide is a handy tool for finding creative sims, events, etc. Search search search. ;-)

Why?? I've been in SL for over 6 years and have never seen this happen at this Welcome Area/Infohub. :( it's just not the same. Is the voice disabling temporary? Will the disabling be lifted at some point??

Sorry if i'm posting in the wrong section. This has happened twice now: I submit orders on marketplace, receive an error that it's unable to process the order, but still takes my lindens and no product delivery. How do I get my lindens back or my product? Any information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Anyone else have problems like this on MP? Thanks

A month ago i unfriended some people, then I saw my avatar picture change (which was not something i initiated) while i was viewing my account on mysecondlife.com. So since I was already logged into my account I was able to change my password quickly. When i look on my Feed, my avatar name changed around that time (a month ago). My feed is viewable for the time being and the change can be seen: https://my.secondlife.com/joy.larkspur Also i cannot remove ANY of the previous postings on my feed where the name is changed with the other avatar name! How do i remove those???? I want all connections with this avatar removed from my acct! The timing of the potential hacking and this showing up on my feed, do i have any recourse on this person? It's eerie. I have of course, muted the individual and his partner.....but are there any other steps i can take to ensure this person has no access to my account? Can a report be filed against this person, since there is proof of this on my feed? My friend just tried to review the item and MP would not let him. He received the error: You must purchase the item to review it. *sigh* This problem should be fixed. :-(

I will contact my friend to see if he can review it. If it should allow gift receivers to review, hopefully it is just buggy. He will persist and try again. Thanks everyone for your responses! =)

I gifted a piece of clothing to a friend and when i went to review it i received this message: "You must purchase the product before you can review it." The friend that received the gifted item cannot review it either. There should be an option for either the purchaser or the receiver of the gift to have the ability to review the item. =( This issue needs to be corrected, reviews are important for merchants. Thank you
