i cant edit my friend or my alt objects , even after they gave permission to do so

i am having problems , since i downloaded the latest slviewer , with editing my friend and my own alt objects they rezzed in-world , when i go in edit it gives me  a blanc info menu , i kno that the permisions are set right so this aint the problem

i downloaded firestorm (and although i have  lots of other problems using firestorm lol)i have no problems with editing my friend objects there

my friend can edit my object i rezz inworld , but it seems impossible for me to do

i re-downloaded the viewer , cleared cache , tried in different regions and sandboxes , nothing works

contacted live support , no reasonable answer was given

i also saw it was a bug others residents had in july and august of 2011 but i thought this bug was solved by now

 

can anyone help me , im going crazy here

Many times when I try to edit something, I will get a blank screen. I have to right click the same object and choose edit again to make the edit screen functional.

Make sure that "Select only my objects" is *not* checked (under Build>Options).
