If you are talking about a Linden home, no. This is against the covenant.

But you may have a 512 sqm plot free of tier (empty, without a house) on the mainland and have a skybox there within your 117 prims limit.

Hello and welcome to SL Forums Plokin. Valerie already answered to you, that it is no possible if you speak about the parcel in Mainland with your Linden Home. I want to say something else. If you desire to have a skybox just for privacy, really you don't need that if you use the last version of Viewer 3. You have an option in About Land Window (Menu World --> Place Profile --> About Land) --> Options tab --> Allow Residents on other parcels: --> Disable "See and chat with residents on this parcel". This way noone can see your avatar and your friends avatars, even he is at the home beside yours. They see you only as dots in map but no your avatars.

It is preferable to have a skybox over land in case you fall out you wlll not drown in the vast Linden Sea.
