If I cancel my premium account, do I get a refund?

LL never refunds. Whatever your membership is, either monthly, quarterly or annual, it is paid in advance and there is no way to have your money back, sorry.

I understand you have an annual membership. Now that you've passed the due date and the payment was made, you'd better remain premium until your next due date. Downgrading to basic would not make sense now that you have paid. Just make sure next time you downgrade 2 or 3 days before your billing date.

Actually, where the LL policy may be (I've not ready their refund policy) Card Services (Visa, MC, AEMX, etc.) require the merchant to return any unused portion of a subscription when it is cancelled.  You would not be returned for this month but you can dispute it if you do not get a refund for the prorated amount, plus any additions as a monthly rate would be higher.
