Cancelling account

I sold my land but I still can't cancel my account; I then tried to change from Premium to Basic account but it wouldn't let me.  How can I get out?

You have to own a piece of land somewhere on the mainland. Go to your dashboard > account > my mainland: you will find it here. TP there and abandon itn then downgrade to basic.

These days AFTER you have rid yourself of land, you also need to go into your Land Manager in your web Dashboard and downgrade your ABILITY to own mainland. It has been this way for a couple of years. I only know as a friend got charged for land that she no longer owned. She believed the older system of LL keeping track of what you owned through the month was in effect.   You can also check in the Dashboard to make sure you have no listed mainland. I doubt you have forgotten, but perhaps something didn't work correctly.
