You upload a photo into your Inventory, then you open your Profile page and edit profile image.

To add a photo here at the Forum click on your name near the top of the page where it says, Welcome, mikey Davidov

To add a photo to your inworld profile, you open your profile, choose Real World Profile Picture, click on Profile Picture, Choose File, then Upload. Click Save.
