Can't IM a friend....why?

I'm having an issue IMing a friend on my friends list?  I can see his messages but he can't see mine. I've seen him face to face and we can see each other.He is not blocked, so what else could it be?? Please help!

 

I tried to delete him and befriend him again. I even logged out and reinstalled. I'm wondering if it's on his side but i'm the only one he is havin issues with as well. He def knows it's not my fault because as i befriend him i type my messages. Notecards or tps won't go to him either.

Unusual issue. You could try defriending him and then friend again to see if this solves the problem.

This happened to me. When I experienced this problem I was lagging badly. The next time this happens, it may be worth typing a short apology to your friend in a notecard (and pass the notecard to your friend) so that they don't get offended and then simply log off and then relog - it solved the problem for me.
