you can do it from : https://my.secondlife.com/fr/settings/profile

JPG, PNG or GIF. Maximum file size is 5Mb. Upload from your hard drive.

Hello suzuasa and welcome to SL Forums. With the "new" web profiles, you can't use a pic directly from your inventory as your profile pic. You must to upload the pic from your computer (hard disk). The pic must to have one of the following extensions: a) .jpg b) .gif c) .png

Open your profile --> Edit profile --> Profile picture --> Choose file --> select an image --> Upload.

If you follow this process and it fails, it is a temporal problem / glitch. Some other users have the same problem today. Let's hope LL fix it soon.
