You can change your Display name every seven days.  Perhaps it is grayed out because it has not been seven days since you last changed it.

Hi Venus , ty for your answer. I have had the Display name for several weeks now. I also have been unable to access the Cloud Cover option in Environment manager since I set new WindLight for new skin . Any other info you have would be appreciated . : ) It's just really odd ya know . Everything else checks out fine . Do you know of some reason that LL or Phoenix would deny access ??

If you have two viewers on your computer do they have separate cache folders? I use Phoenix currently and I can see Cloud options in the Environment Editor. I do not use a display name so I am sorry I cannot help with that (other than to know about the 7 day change cycle). I am sure someone else will provide more helpful information.
