how can I get details of how many lindens I have EVER spent and who I paid ?

I have lost touch with a good friend and have forgotten his Second Life name : I gave him some Lindens and can't get far enough back on my account to find his name!

Your transaction history only goes back 30 days, you have to save copies yourself if you want to keep them.

If you save your chat logs then you should have a record of your friend there, either in chat.txt or if you have ever IM`d him you would have a text file with his name on it.

Check your preferences to see the location that your logs are saved to & look there.

You can also check your Calling cards folder, if he was ever on your friends list.
