Can not get SL to run at all...

Tried 3 different viewers (official plus 2 others and all of them will install fine but won't run.

 

All come up with an error but with no excuse in them "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000001d). Click on OK to terminate application)"   (P.S.. This error box comes up twice everytime you click to run it. I,e, click it once another one pops up immediately)

These are the specs of this rubbish PC I'm using see what you can make of it.

Hiya Claw! I'm having same issue. It gets stuck at "Loading World" and won't go any further. Also had a lot of weird installation issues, popup boxes. No resolution yet but I'll post if I find out anything.

No luck for me yet, even with a reinstall.

 

 

I also get this when trying to install. On a second attempt, I did not get those messages, but it still gets stuck at "Loading World" and will not go any further.

just a straight error similar to what you were getting first. no attempt to open the viewer window whatsoever

Mine is intermittent. I was able to get into SL using V2 yesterday, but today again it is stuck at "Loading World" and never rolls over. So I can get in only with 1.23. Weird.

Yes it is. Right click the adress bar and there you can check show coordinates.
