How can i set a location as my home if i don't own the land or if there is no Info Hub?

A friend of mine offered to have me live with them and some friends on there land free of charge. They had me join a group for that land and ask me to try and set that land for my home. I tried but had a message pop up that i must own the land or be near an info hub. How would i set that place as my home without owning the land and not being near and Info hub?

You must be a member of the group and the owner must give you permission so you can set the land as your home without any problem.

From memory, the permission is granted by checking a box in the group abilities settings for the rôle they have given you.

Make sure your wearing your group tag. Also in the about land window the owner needs to give group permissions to mark as home.
