You might also try "Kameleonz" perhaps, not my group either. A smallish aussie based group focussed on live music & fun. or try doing a "Make Him/Her Over" hunt. You may check the destination guide to find places where you could meet people sharing your interests and tastes. If you like music, clubs are often good places to meet people and make friends. Don't be shy, if the local chat is animated, join in the conversation. Explore SL, go to different places and soon you'll make friends.
