You send something to someone and they refuse it. Is it just gone.

When one person transfers a object to another and that person refuses it, it goes into their trash can.  This is different from the way objects work.  If something is sent from an object, like a vendor or prize giver, and the person refuses it then it will not appear in their trash.

If it is non-transfer then yes. Its gone. You probably got a warning before you sent it.

If this is an item you sent personally, look in your lost and found and trash folders.

If this was an item bought as a gift on the marketplace, and if the person clicked discard instead of keep, unfortunately the item is completely lost. In this case, send a notecard to the merchant with your transaction number (in your market place order history), explain the item was accidentally refused and ask politely for redelivery.
