Log in failed. Inventory is unavailable. Grrrr.

I got logged out of SL for some reason and now when I try to log back in it says Log in failed. The inventory system is currently unavailable. I have no idea what is going on as this has never happened to me in the year and a half I have been on SL. Anyone know why or what could be going on and how I can fix it? Thanks so much :)
