Local Payment Methods Progress?

Hullo Folks,

 

I´m kinda dying to hear what the progress is on the new local payment methods, as I´m sure many other non-US Residents are.

I am currently on a plot that a kind friend is willing to pay tier for, thereby stretching her tier limits and preventing her from expanding her own SLife, so feel kinda rotten about that and would like to be able to release her from that burden and pay my own way

 

Apart from that, I´m surrounded by maintenance land that has been like that for over a year now and will possibly soon come available, and don´t want to miss out on that either, if I can afford it.

 

Well aware this is a complicated and precarious thing to establish, so by no means trying to be pushy (hides his white knuckles behind his back), would really like to know if there is a deadline for the release in sight and generally keep informed
