Not able to log in all day. Regions issues or check internet connection. My internet is fine. ???

I have not been able to log in all day.  I get an error message that the region may be having issues and to check my internet connection.  My internet is fine.  I have tried to reboot.  I have also uninstalled and then reinstalled the SL viewer.  What can I do, I need on tonight for an event?

Try logging in to a different start location, such as Smith

If you do not have that option on your login screen, go to me > preferences and check the box next to "show on login".Click OK and close prefernces and you should now have a dropdown menu that you can type Smith into.
