I havent visisted a forum since 06/20/2010 and still my e-mail gets flooded. How do I stop this ???

Start at My Settings, Subscriptions and Bookmarks, next to your name at the top of these pages. There is another option there also about email subscriptions. Lots of boxes to check it appears.
