Received an email stating I submitted a case to SL... (answered by support)

I have received two emails so far, both with the title "Case has been created" but I have not created a case with SL support. 

Are these spoof emails to get my login info?

Can someone create a case about my account without my knowledge?

Update: I asked the question in live chat to support and they said "This is an email sent out by paypal to linden that is somehow going to the residents email." and verified it was a paypal bug, of sorts... they said to ignore future emails of this type. Answered!

As a general rule, I would say never give anyone your login info, if Second Life needs it, they already have it. 

I would get a hold of support at Linden Labs and inquire into this.
