InReal, InWorld inArt is an exhibition an anthology of established artists in both the real world and the Metaverse.

Second Life has always been since its inception a platform dedicated to the active creativity of its participants and on this premise has created a fertile and receptive environment that has supported the growth of outstanding artistic figures. Within it have developed currents and groups of experimenters, many of whom came from artistic spheres that predate virtual worlds and who, meeting with new tools, have developed new aesthetic and expressive forms.

InReal, InWorld inArt is dedicated to this early vanguard of artists, who first came to the New Digital World, laying the foundation for a "Metaverse way of art" that now boasts prominent native artists. The exhibition presents works by eight artists representative of that generation: Gazira Babeli, Tina bay, Fau Ferdinand, Sarima Giha, Mexi Lane, Marco Manray, Patrick Moya , Bryn Oh, real world artists who in the social virtual worlds have matured a sensibility and an original aesthetic and technical path that they have then brought back to the real world.

The exhibition will be followed by a catalog with critical contributions and biographies of the authors, which will be presented at the Sarah Ann Art & Sea Bookshop in Kalvoya.

The staging and curatorship

The building that will host the exhibition is by designer and set designer Dario Buratti (Colpo Wexler), known for the creativity and elegance of his architecture, especially dedicated to art, one for all the SOMA (San Francisco Museum of Art) and commercial buildings: many big names rely on his constructions, such as Belleza, Cosmopolitan, Backbone, Très Chic, ACCESS, and many others.

The curatorship of the exhibition is provided by Rosanna Galvani (Roxelo Babenco), founder and manager of the Museum of the Metaverse, a cultural center that since the origins of Second Life has been collecting in its collections ( now moved to a large museum in OpenGrid) works by artists and creators who have found their inspiration and expressive technique here, coming from very different experiences: artists in reality or natives.

The environment will be set up by landscape designer Eva Lowtide (Melissa Lowtide), who has already had the opportunity to showcase her skills by creating environments for Second Norway when it was owned by Ey Ren

Location

The exhibition area is located in Nasoya, a residential area of Second Norway within walking distance of the bookshop built to promote the event and other events that will take place during the perid of Summer Sailstuice.
