Flexi-prim rope, leash, chain

I never really worked with flexi before but basically what I am wanting to do is have a bench with a leash/rope attached to that would attach to the avatar who sat on it and it would then be attached to the avatar also. So two attachment points, on the sat on object and the other to the avatar at another point, maybe they have like a an armband or something and the rope/leash bends between the two. I don't like the look of particles because it is never solid enough, or I just can't get it solid enough idk. Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe particles is the only way to go with this...

Flexi prims can only flop about while one end is static, meaning you can't really create a "rope" or anything that's connected at both ends with slack in the middle. That's why particles are often used for that effect.
