Abbiabigail
I'm trying to set up for the Puppetry open discussion in a few hours and I am running into a lot of issues. I followed the instructions on this page: https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/How_Puppetry_Works But when I follow those instructions, I get this error: Failed to start puppetry module - is it installed? Command: pythonw C:/Users/camelia/LEAP/lindenlab-leap-d94baec5ef50/puppetry/examples/arm_wave.py --camera 0 Error: failed to run Puppetry I have tried switching the cameras. The set up file opens the Python compiler for a split second and then closes again. I have tried downloading two older versions of Python to troubleshoot this. Is anyone else having these issues? Does anyone have any advice? I was really hoping to attend this event. Thanks!
Fritigern Gothly
Download and install Python from https://www.python.org The version in the Windows store is no good.
Jenna Huntsman
You may find the instructions on this page more help than the one's you're reading. https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Puppetry_Setup
Abbiabigail
Thank you both for your responses! I was finally able to set it up thanks to the help of a resident inworld. Here is his user guide: https://gist.github.com/FelixWolf/364e8f598717537eabdd790d2369181a#installing-required-modules I find it to be the most user-friendly and comprehensive guide out there
