Furry places that aren't focused on "play", and welcoming to humans

Hi there!

Just dipping my toes into what I guess is known as the furry scene in SL. Not hardcore, just I'm a feline lover IRL and have a new avatar look that's full on feline with Maitereya body and feline head and BOM skin from the popular places (without the paws yet, that kind of weirds me out a bit and I love my shoes).

I'm looking for friendly clubs (dance/music) and hangouts where I can slowly get used to the whole furry thing in SL, that may not be purely populated by furries (humans/anthros welcomed) that are not strictly hook up places. I'm not into other furries in that way (and only recently learned what the term "y*ff" means) and am just looking for chat and social stuff. A couple of places I stumbled into via search were pretty much strip/escort places rather than dance/social clubs.

Any recommendations? Thanks!

Also, any of the major clubs welcoming to furry looks? I went to one of my regular (semi-formal) spots where I regularly dance, in my new look, and even though I'm known there was told to leave and come back human. I tip there regularly so they've just lost my business.

I can recommend Luskwood (lusk sim) if you just want to hangout and not have to worry about the pervy related, since Lusk is a General rated area on mainland and welcomes all.

Thank you! I also found out about Bray's Place by reading Ryan Shultz's article but it's gone in-world now.
