Chiaroscuro needs a DJ

Chiaroscuro is a fantasy/pagan themed, LGBT community which holds a themed costume party every Saturday, 2-4pm SLT.  We generally work with a rotating group of four DJs who do on average 1 event per month but flexibility is essential (willingness to swap your Saturday with another DJ in case they are sick or otherwise unavailable). Unfortunately one of our DJs has left the group due to RL commitments and we need to replace her.

Themes are usually fantasy or pagan-related; typical themes might be "Black Magic", "Forest Creatures", "Mer-dance", "Summer Fae" etc.  We occasionally do something a bit more modern.  You can choose your own themes if you wish, or fit in with seasonal events such as Midsummer Solstice, Yule etc.  Genre of music is up to you (no rap, hip-hop, EDM, etc, no screamo metal and no jazz - one of our other DJs has the jazz angle covered). We prefer the music to be (at least mostly) related to the theme somehow. World music, folk music, and independent music we might never have heard of before are all much appreciated, but we like familiar stuff too. (Community members mostly fall into the Boomer and Gen-X generations, if that helps). Willingness to take requests is entirely up to you, as long as the requests are also in-theme.

DJs should be willing to engage with the audience either over the stream or in local chat (voice is optional) and be willing to enter into the spirit of the theme by dressing accordingly (we're a Moderate community so costumes do not have to be strictly PG, and often aren't).  You will need your own stream and you'll need two free group slots; one for the Events group and one for the land group, so you can rez your tipjar. The costume parties are for fun, not for prizes (we just all enjoy dressing up for it).

We can't currently pay a salary (this may change in the future) but you'll keep 100% of your tips. A typical event gets about 10-12 regular guests who are good tippers. I will usually be the host.
