Help please .... How do you create a room full of colored light?

Hi all you wonderful builders out there ...

I am building a set for an upcoming show. I need to flood boxes with a single color. Each dancer has their own 'box' and color. How the heck do I do this? 

Any help you can give, will be greatly appreciated.
