Question

Hi, I switched over to a Mac and for some reason my log in won't wovrk. DNS could not resolve host... I'm unsure if that's due to the switch, but i haven't log unto my Window's for a few weeks and I'm sure my account is up with no negative marks.

Hello xxxx. It is a know problem especially for users with Mac's. Look this jira: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-25627

A solution for this problem described at the following url, and seems that it works for most of users:

http://neilrobinson.wordpress.com/2008/05/19/a-fix-for-dns-errors/

You need to add the following additional DNS servers to your DNS settings in Network settings under System Preferences:

208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220

If the problem remains, download a previous edition of viewer 2 and set your software updates NO to be installed automatically. (Preferences --> Setup --> Hardware)
