Since Weds morning I have not bee able to connect to sl voice. The button is greyed out when voice is enabled. I have sounds, can hear stream/gestures etc all fine I simply cannot connect to voice [though it IS enabled]

I use a 2007 Mac, so for my SL viewer I use the old version 1.23.5 and Phoenix version 1.5.1.(373) as the new versions are un-supported, but have had voice for the last 3 and half years with no problem.

My mic is working fine on Skype.

I have tried the following all with no result:

First i tried a simple relog.

Then in preferences I tried disabling voice voice, relogging then enabling voice again.

Then I tried hitting the 'reset voice' button

Then I rebooted my whole computer/internet connection.

Then i tried all of the above again, sevearl times.

Then i removed both SL and Phoenix from my Mac and reinstalled.

I contaced my intenet supplier to see if they had blocked anything, nothing.

I contacted the Mac people at PC world and we tried a number of things, they say my mac is working fine and they don't know why either.

I  tried AVN, the same problem exists there, no voice, even though it IS enabled.

To explain, its just like those few moments when you log in and voice hasn't connected yet.. you just wait a few seconds and it clicks in.... but mine isn't.

Please is anyone else having the same issue? If so then I hope its an SL glitch.

Does anyone else know or have any other suggestions for things I can try please?

Thank you.
