raw terrain files

when uploading a raw terrain file to change the shape of your sim, is it possible to use one raw file for 2 or more sims? For example i created a raw file shape of Michigan (my home state) so could I increase the raw file size so that the lower peninsula is one sim and the upper peninsula is the other sim?

Not exactly, but you could increase the size and then split it into two RAW files.
