I've had an issue for a while on one of my Mac computers using the SL browser which has been going on for quite some time. Anytime I want to view a profile, SL requires me to login each time to access the full profile information. When you manage several sims you frequently have to view profiles and it is time consuming to have to click on "view profile" and then have to click the padlock icon in the viewer that opens up and then type in your full name and password every time you you want to view this. I also have the same problem when I want to search for something. If I open the search field, it says under the search field "Maturity" and only General is available-moderate and adult are greyed out and I have to click login and go through the whole exercise to be able to search all maturity levels for something. I've gone through everything I can and cannot find anything I've ticked on or off that is causing this. When I log in on my Mac at work, this never happens and it doesn't happen if I log in on Firestorm. Any ideas?

Pretty much anything with the built-in browser is an exercise in frustration these days. And it's not Mac-specific, nor viewer-specific, nor does it seem to happen with everyone (yet). See BUG-228311 Using "Shop" button for Marketplace does not remember login credentials (don't be fooled by the title)  Best thing you can do for yourself is use an external browser for now.
