premium downgrade and land ownership

I want to downgrade to basic today. Will I still keep my group allocated mainland until my premium runs out? 

What happens to the group tier when I'm out, is it just automatically added to the monthly payments?

When you request a downgrade to Premium, your account is marked "Pending Downgrade".  You remain a Premium member until the end of the period that you have already prepaid for.  HOWEVER, you cannot request a downgrade if you still own any land on the Mainland, including any group-owned land that you have donated tier to. Therefore, you have to sell or abandon the land first and you have to reclaim the tier contributions that you have made to group-owned land.  THEN you request a downgrade to Basic.  It makes sense to wait until you are near the end of your Premium payment period before you get rid of land.  After all, you'll still be Premium right up to the last day, so you might as well enjoy the land as long as you can.

BTW, none of this applies to land that you own in private estates or last that you rent anywhere.  You can keep those.

Can I just take my land tier donation out of the group? I want this to have minimum impact on the group. My premium runs out in a month.
