Logging region restarts?

in addition, be aware that generally aditi regions self clean... meaning they roll back to a specific state so that anything that affected it in between doesn't pollute results going forward...  and of course crashes can often take recent items/changes with them, occasionally restoring removed items.

you can monitor remotely as well with llRequestSimulatorData by polling DATA_SIM_STATUS, but I haven't tried it to see how effective it is.

Yes. That's why I need to do this. Some disppearances have been of very long-standing items, while more recent items remained., So that can't be roll back, but I need to prove that. I think I might need to rez a marker item with a time in it and delete it's predecessor every hour, so as to identify the rollback points when there is a restart. On the other hand, no doubt there are server logs somewhere with all this info in them. Now if I could persuade someone to let me access those, it would save all the effort. :smileysurprised:
