windows: error can't tu run SL viewer

when I lanch SL viewer the system says: Viewer doesn't run. Windows: there is a problem to run correctly the program. It will be closed.

what can I do?

(more information is need to determine the problem) but... check for viruses...

could be from a host of issues, but try unistalling it, downloading the most recent viewer directly from SL, and do a clean install http://blog.nalates.net/2011/02/22/second-life-clean-install/

or try installing the viewer 1.25 (i think that is the latest viewer 1) or another viewer such as the kristens s21... or any other approved viewer.
